Rudolf S. Williams

Educator, artist and science communicator.

Rudolf is a graduate of Science Illustration and Communication, and is currently completing an exhibition called ‘Space For Nature’, the artworks celebrate the use of satellites for tracking and monitoring wildlife. Rudolf has worked in marine and terrestrial conservation all of his life, mainly with sharks and cetaceans – he co-founded the UK research charity MARINElife. Rudolf has an interest in all natural history, and his travels most recently have focused on reptiles in California and Australia. His aesthetic appreciations also extend to technology, he served in the Royal Navy aboard ships of many nations at sea, and over 23 years he visited NASA and the Kennedy Space Centre as a journalist reporting on the Space Shuttle. All these adventures are shared through his lecture programme and he is currently training to become a school teacher.
