Ernest Brooks

Fotógrafo submarino internacionalmente reconocido y premiado cuya obra ha sido expuesta en el Metropolitan de NY

Ernie Brooks was bound to be a photographer, his grandmother was a portraitist, his uncle a landscape photographer and his father a flower photographer and founder of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. In 1949 Ernie made his first underwater photograph off the Channel Islands and from that day forward 67 years have passed and Ernie continues to photograph his favourite subjects within the Seas of our Planet in shades of Black and White. Ambassador of the Marine Environment, Diver, Pilot, Adventurer, Educator, the first recipient of the Hans Hass Award and numerous other awards have made the life of Ernie Brooks a spectacular homage to Ansel Adams of the Sea, and at the young age of 82 continues to exhibit his IMAGES in galleries around the World.
